🚚 Shipping & Delivery Policy

Welcome to intmarble.com. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, handle, and securely transport your natural stone orders across the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and the European Union (EU).

📦 Packing & Handling Protocols

Due to the significant weight and fragile structural nature of premium natural stone, we enforce strict packing safety standards:

  • All stone tiles, paving slabs, and architectural mosaics are wrapped and packed inside secure wooden crates or reinforced high-density storage boxes.
  • To ensure zero shifting during transit, consignments are securely strapped on heavy-duty pallets and routed through specialised logistics networks.
  • Each individual transit pallet carries a maximum safe structural threshold of 1,000kg. Consignments exceeding this limit are split across multiple secure pallets automatically.
  • Every pallet undergoes professional shock-proof shrink-wrapping to maximise structural protection and minimise the risk of micro-fracturing in transit.

⏱️ Transit Windows & Estimates

  • United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland: 2 to 3 working days from written dispatch validation.
  • European Union (EU Destination States): 5 to 7 working days via our dedicated Northern Ireland protocol trading channel.
  • Stone Material Samples: Dispatched immediately via courier or priority mail networks. In alignment with our strict sample terms, samples are completely non-refundable and are fulfilled based entirely on warehouse stock availability.

Please Note: All stated delivery windows are non-binding logistical estimates only. International Marble Ltd is not financially liable for on-site builder delays, structural downtime, specialised tool hire costs, or independent installer fees caused by shipping carrier delays or customs checks.

💷 Delivery Cost Matrix (Geographical Zones)

Our delivery fees are calculated transparently based on destination zones and checkout order thresholds:

Zone 1: United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland

Order Threshold (UK & Ireland Only) Total Shipping Charge
Material Samples Line (Subject to warehouse availability) Non-Refundable Standard Rate
Total Checkout Cart Value Under £1,000 £99.00 Flat Fee
Total Checkout Cart Value Over £1,000 FREE Standard Delivery *

* Important Return Forfeiture Notice: Free delivery over £1,000.00 is a promotion applied solely to completed transactions. If you change your mind, cancel after depot dispatch, or return your stone order, this carriage subsidy is completely revoked. A fixed outbound delivery clawback fee of £99.00 per dispatched pallet will be systematically deducted from your final refund balance.

Zone 2: European Union (Mainland Countries)

Destination Zone (EU) Total Shipping Charge
All Orders To EU Member States (Any Order Value) Minimum £300.00 Flat Rate per Pallet

We do not offer free shipping thresholds to European Union destinations. Exact pallet network surcharges are calculated automatically at checkout based on your specific destination country postal code and total shipment weight matrix.

🚪 Kerbside Delivery Operational Rules

  • All large freight and palletised stone orders are designated strictly as Kerbside Delivery Only due to the massive physical weight profile of the cargo (often averaging 800kg+ per structural unit). Vehicles will unload crates at the nearest accessible boundary point on a level, hard surface.
  • The physical movement of individual stone crates or tiles from the drop location into your private property, garage, or architectural construction site remains the exclusive physical responsibility and structural risk of the Purchaser.
  • Access Check: You must ensure your delivery address accommodates heavy logistics trucks. If your site features severe weight limits, narrow turning roadways, or low overhead trees, you must log this with our desk prior to dispatch to prevent premium failed-delivery re-routing fees.

📐 Transit Damages & Claims Window

  • Inspect Immediately: You must verify structural crate integrity at the exact moment of handover. If physical damage is clear upon inspection, make sure it is actively marked on the carrier’s digital manifest screen or paper receipt as "DAMAGED" before signing.
  • 24 to 48 Hour Notification: Any physical breaks, structural fractures, or quantity shortages must be filed directly via email within **24 to 48 hours of delivery**. Your claim must feature clear, high-resolution photographs showing the state of the delivery pallet, original wrapping layers, and specific product batch.
  • Physical installation or cutting of the stone constitutes absolute acceptance of its condition. No transit damage claims can be processed once tiles have been laid or fixed with adhesive on site.
