📦 Delivery Information
Natural stone tiles are both heavy and delicate. This section covers the essential details about how your tiles will be delivered and actions to take in the rare event of transit damages.
📐 Packing Detail
A: Our tiles are typically packed in wooden boxes, placed on sturdy pallets for delivery. Alternatively, they can be packed in robust polystyrene on pallets. Deliveries are handled by external companies within the national "pallet network," with each pallet having a weight limit of 1000 kg. Orders exceeding this weight are distributed across additional pallets.
💷 International Marble Delivery Cost
A: Delivery charges are per pallet, calculated based on the chosen service (e.g., next-day, economy) and additional services. We strive to meet requested delivery dates but cannot guarantee them due to various factors. Please contact our sales team for precise quotes, as costs vary across our carriers' "postal zones."
Local Delivery (Northern Ireland and Ireland): £75 per pallet, next-day service.
Most UK Areas: £75 per pallet. for order under £599
EU Deliveries: Starting from £250 per pallet, 5-7 working days.
All prices exclude VAT.
⏰ Last Order Cut-Off Time
A: Orders for same-day dispatch must be placed before 12.00 am. Orders after this time are processed the next day. Saturday orders are processed the next business day.
🗓️ Arrival Day of Delivery
A: Our carriers typically call on the delivery day with an ETA. However, they are not contractually obligated to do so. The recipient must be present at the delivery address on the specified date. In case of absence, a re-delivery fee of £49 per pallet will apply.
🚛 Delivery Vehicle and Offloading
A: Deliveries are made with large trucks equipped with tail lifts for offloading. Inform us of any access restrictions for potential use of smaller vehicles. Deliveries are generally kerbside, subject to vehicle and site access. Direct deliveries into customer units are at the driver's discretion.
❗ Damages and Sorting Your Stone Tile Order
Goods must be inspected on delivery. If visible damage is noted, mark "DAMAGED PRODUCTS" on the delivery note. Inform us within 24 hours of any transport-related damages. Photographic evidence of the order's pre-shipment condition and damages is required for insurance claims.
🚧 Other Damage to Property
Minor tile damages might be discovered post-unpacking. Stone tiles, being natural products, may have stains, veining, or chipping, which are inherent characteristics. Include a 10% extra allowance for "cuts and waste." Small chips can often be utilized in cuts without affecting the installation's integrity.
