Delivery Information

We work hard to get your stone to you quickly and safely using our trusted transport partners.

• Delivery Times: 2–3 working days for the UK and Ireland. 5–7 working days for Europe.
• Delivery Window: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
• Crate Delivery Fees: From £99.00 per crate (up to 1,000kg).
• Sample Delivery Fees: £9.90 per parcel (up to 5kg).

Important Note: Someone must be there to sign for the delivery. The driver will drop the crates at the nearest safe, flat area outside your property (like the kerbside or driveway).

Because marble is heavy and fragile, we have clear rules for cancellations and returns.

1. The Natural Stone Rule (Please Read)
Marble is a 100% natural product. Every single tile has unique colors, shades, and veining. These variations are not defects—they are the natural beauty of the stone. If you decide to return your tiles because you do not like the natural veining, it counts as a standard return, and you must pay for the return shipping.

2. How Long You Have to Decide

• Everyday Shoppers (B2C): You have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days of delivery. If you live in the EU, you can do this instantly by logging into your account profile.
• Days 15 to 30: Returns are only accepted if we officially approve it first, and the tiles must be in perfect, unopened pallets.
• Trade Customers (B2B): Trade and business accounts do not have an automatic right to return items for a change of mind.

3. Return Conditions

• Tiles must be completely unused, clean, and packed securely in their original crates or pallets.
• If you install the tiles or stick them down with adhesive, you have accepted them. We cannot accept returns or give refunds after installation.
• We cannot accept returns for custom-cut stone, clearance items, or opened boxes.

4. Return Shipping & Fees

• You pay for return shipping: You must arrange and pay for the heavy freight shipping back to our depot in Kilkeel. Shipping heavy stone pallets can be very expensive.
• Restocking Fees: Everyday Shoppers (Within 14 days): 0% fee. | Everyday Shoppers (Days 15–30): 20% restocking fee. | Trade Customers: 30% restocking fee.

Achieve a perfect, beautiful finish with our expert technical guide. Installing genuine natural stone requires careful planning. This guide helps homeowners and professional installers follow British Standards (BS 5385) for a flawless result.

✅ Important Pre-Installation Checklist

• Check for Transit Damage: You must inspect your delivery completely. Any shipping breakages must be reported to cs@intmarble.com with photos within 24 hours of delivery.
• The "Dry Run" Rule (Crucial): Before using any glue, unpack tiles from 3 to 4 different crates and lay them out loose on the floor. This lets you blend the natural colors and veining beautifully. Do not skip this step.
• Installation Means Acceptance: Always inspect your tiles during the dry run. Once a tile is glued down or sealed, it is officially accepted. We cannot accept returns, issue refunds, or handle claims for variations or defects after the stone has been installed.

🔧 Essential Materials & Tools

For the best results, we recommend using these professional-grade materials:

• Adhesive: Always use a high-performance, white flexible adhesive (Class S1 or S2). Using grey adhesive can bleed through and permanently stain light-colored marble from behind.
• Grout: Use a high-flexibility stone grout. We recommend a 2mm to 3mm grout joint.
• Sealer: Natural marble must be protected with a high-quality impregnating sealer before and after grouting, alongside pH-neutral stone cleaners.
• Tools: A wet-diamond bridge saw is required to cut marble cleanly without chipping.

📋 General Installation Rules

• Mix Your Boxes: Never tile out of a single box. Mix tiles from multiple crates as you go to ensure a balanced, natural distribution of veining across the room.
• Follow TTA Guidelines: Adhere strictly to The Tile Association (TTA) UK standards.
• Safety First: Always wear protective gloves, safety eyewear, and a dust mask when cutting stone.

🏠 Where Can This Stone Be Used?

• Bathroom Walls & Floors: Yes (Satin or Polished finishes).
• Kitchen Floors & Splashbacks: Yes (Sealing is mandatory to prevent food stains).
• Showers & Wet Rooms: Yes (Always verify the slip rating fits your project).
• Underfloor Heating: Yes (Marble holds and distributes heat beautifully).
• Outdoor Patios & Gardens: No. Natural polished marble is prone to frost damage and slipperiness outdoors and is not advised.

To get the most beautiful layout in your room, you must follow the Batch Calibration process. Before any glue or adhesive is applied, we require all customers and tilers to follow these steps:

1. Unpack Everything together: Open all your delivery crates or boxes at the same time.
2. Do a Dry-Lay: Arrange the tiles loose on a clean floor. Mix tiles from different boxes together.
3. Balance the Look: Move the tiles around until the colors and veining patterns flow naturally and beautifully across the room.

🚨 Legal Disclaimer & Quality Standards

It is important to understand that natural variations, shading differences, or mineral markings are not flaws or defects—they are the authentic signature of genuine stone.

• Installation Means Acceptance: In line with UK and European stone industry standards, installing the tiles means you fully accept them as they are.
• Our Claims Policy: Once the stone is fixed to the floor or wall with adhesive, we cannot accept returns, issue refunds, or handle any claims regarding color, shading, or veining.
• Delivery Damages: If any tiles are physically broken or cracked during shipping, this must be reported with photos to cs@intmarble.com within 24 hours of delivery, before installation begins.
• Change of Mind: If you decide to return your uninstalled tiles within your legal 14-day window because you do not like the natural variation, you are responsible for organizing and paying for the heavy pallet return shipping back to our Kilkeel yard.
